10+ years of expertise in mineral exploration, database management, resource modeling/estimation, grade control, and resource reporting.
• Strong academic foundation in geological/structural mapping, igneous geochemistry, ore deposit geology, and petrology.
• Proven experience in drillhole targeting and managing diamond drilling campaigns for diverse minerals, including gold, coal, limestone, phosphate, potash, gypsum, marble, bitumen, pozzolona, and iron ore.
• Advanced proficiency in geology, mining, and mapping software such as Surpac, Minex, AutoCAD, MapInfo, Global Mapper, ArcGIS, QGIS, Georient 10.2, Surfer, Core Profiler, and Google Earth Pro for map production, cross-section drawing, geological modeling, resource assessment, and mine planning.
• Skilled in core sample logging during exploration drilling, core orientation and structural interpretation from cores, and creating 2D/3D geological and mineralization models for ore deposits.
• Expertise in preparing and interpreting maps, sections, and exploration activity reports.
• Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Mineral Exploration (with Distinction) and a B.Sc. in Geology from Obafemi Awolowo University. He is currently studying for the award of a PhD. in Applied Geology.
• International experience as an Exploration Geologist in Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria.
